Senior Director, Product Finance (Cloud)

Location: Hybrid role in San Jose, California, United States, with in-office expectations of 3 days per week

Salary: $227,800–$308,000 per year, with final compensation determined by location, qualifications, experience, and education.

What you will do

• Lead Product Finance for the Hybrid Cloud and Public Cloud businesses as a strategic partner to the EVP of Product and Product leadership.
• Own annual operating plans, long-range planning, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial execution.
• Provide financial analysis for product launches, hyperscaler and partner deals, pricing decisions, and major revenue opportunities.
• Manage product and offering-level profitability, margin levers, pricing, discount strategy, opex, and capex allocation.
• Champion AI-enabled analytics, automated reporting, and process improvements that improve finance scalability and decision speed.
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing Product Finance team while partnering with Corporate FP&A, Supply Chain, and GTM Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including financial or FP&A leadership experience, ideally in technology, cloud, or hardware/software businesses.
• 5+ years of experience managing team members and leading organizational change or transition.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, margin analysis, and business-case development.
• Experience partnering with VP- and EVP-level leaders and influencing decisions without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with executive presence and the ability to deliver recommendation-led updates.

Nice to have

• MBA or CPA.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics or finance automation tools.
