UX Designer (AI)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; hybrid with at least 3 days per week in the Sunnyvale office

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 base salary per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits

What you will do

• Design clear, end-to-end workflows for complex technical tasks across ordering, receiving, installation, setup, configuration, usage, monitoring, troubleshooting, support, and ongoing management.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs, pain points, mental models, and real-world workflows.
• Develop information architecture, interaction models, navigation, user journeys, workflow diagrams, prototypes, wireframes, and design narratives.
• Build, maintain, and drive adoption of a design system covering components, patterns, templates, interactions, and visual guidelines.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to clarify requirements, assess feasibility, and align software tools, operational workflows, and customer-facing materials.
• Use AI for research synthesis, content creation, rapid iteration, and collaboration with engineers using shared AI tooling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of UX design experience.
• Experience creating information architecture, workflow diagrams, user journeys, and prototypes from low to high fidelity.
• Strong experience building, maintaining, and driving adoption of design systems.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing and turning findings into actionable insights.
• Experience with data-driven decision-making, structured feedback loops, cross-functional facilitation, and communicating design rationale through clear storytelling.
• Ability to work from the Sunnyvale office at least 3 days per week.
