Associate Human Resources Business Partner

Location: New Century, Kansas, USA; hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week on-site at the plant

Salary: $90,000–$95,000 base salary annually, depending on experience and other hiring factors

What you will do

• Partner with site, functional, and regional leaders to translate business objectives into workforce, organizational, leadership, and talent strategies.
• Advise leaders on organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, workforce planning, business performance, and talent capabilities.
• Lead and support employee relations investigations, corrective actions, performance management discussions, and employment terminations.
• Drive organizational design, change management, communication planning, business transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, retention strategies, hiring strategies, and internal mobility.
• Collaborate with Legal, Payroll, Total Rewards, HR Operations, and HR Shared Services while using workforce analytics and talent metrics to maintain accurate reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial Psychology, Industrial Social Work, or a related field.
• At least four years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager, or in a related human resources role.
• Experience developing and executing workforce, organizational, and talent strategies with business leaders.
• Experience with employee relations investigations, corrective actions, performance management, workforce planning, change management, and organizational effectiveness.
• Experience supporting talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, retention strategies, or geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, coaching, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, food ingredients, biotechnology, specialty chemicals, or other industrial operations.
• Professional certification in Human Resources.
• Experience leading organizational change, culture transformation, or enterprise talent initiatives across multiple locations.
