Equipment Technician

Location: Cincinnati, OH, United States; onsite

Salary: $15.50–$16.50 per hour

Provides management services and hospital equipment support.

What you will do

• Clean and disinfect medical equipment using approved disinfectants and infection-control procedures.
• Maintain par levels, read inventory sheets, obtain supplies, and support stock acquisition.
• Transport equipment with a pushcart and maintain the assigned work area.
• Follow daily schedules, hospital policies, safety procedures, PPE requirements, and reporting processes.
• Respond to hospital staff by phone and email and communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions, support shift leads, and provide coverage during staff shortages.

Requirements

• Ability to work onsite in Cincinnati, OH and walk or stand for extended periods.
• English communication skills required: ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to read inventory forms, instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment care, cleaning compounds, and safe chemical use.
• Completion of all required safety and task training certifications.
• A valid driver's license may be required based on business needs; driving employees must meet company eligibility and motor vehicle record requirements.
