Equipment Processing Technician (Medical Equipment)

Location: Detroit District site, Detroit, Michigan; location city listed as Wixom

Salary: $19 per hour, plus full benefits

What you will do

• Clean, inspect, disassemble, and reassemble medical equipment according to approved procedures.
• Process and manage equipment accessories and maintain knowledge of the equipment fleet.
• Complete accurate paperwork and data entry related to equipment processing.
• Ship and receive medical equipment and supplies.
• Assist with inventory management and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and strong written, verbal, and listening communication.
• Ability to lift or push up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours when required.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety and quality procedures, and protect patient privacy.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a hospital setting or customer service.
