TL;DR
Evidence Warehouse Technician (Forensics): Managing the receipt, handling, storage, transportation, and disposition of evidence and property with an accent on chain-of-custody compliance, accurate documentation, and secure inventory control. Focus on coordinating laboratory transfers, maintaining evidence systems and vehicles, supporting audits and investigations, and responding to after-hours requests.
Location: Kennesaw, Georgia, United States. On-site position with occasional travel of 5%–30%. U.S. Persons Only due to ITAR export-control requirements.
Salary: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, full time.

What you will do
- Manage evidence receipt, barcoding, storage, returns, destruction, inventory, and related property transactions.
- Maintain chain-of-custody records, visual documentation, tracking systems, and invoice approvals.
- Prepare and coordinate evidence transportation to and from testing laboratories.
- Keep evidence-processing equipment and vehicles clean, organized, operational, and compliant with safety standards.
- Support inspections, audits, investigations, evidence-destruction events, and staff training.
- Perform monthly vehicle inspections and provide on-call after-hours response as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of relevant warehouse, property, or inventory-management experience; equivalent training and experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment, procedures, and documentation standards.
- Strong organization, prioritization, accuracy, professionalism, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a changing environment.
- Microsoft Office Suite skills and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
- Ability to lift and transfer up to 50 pounds; valid Georgia Driver’s License required. Must be a U.S. Person.
Nice to have
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
- Commercial Driver’s License.
