Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (Fintech)

Location: US - Foster City, California; hybrid position with office attendance confirmed by the Hiring Manager. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $123,000–$190,900 USD per year, with potential bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable web applications, services, and product components.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, verify assumptions, and address design issues with stakeholders.
• Participate in system architecture, estimation, design documentation, code reviews, and pull-request workflows.
• Create test plans, configure testing procedures, debug software, and resolve defects across multiple features.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, QA, operations, compliance, and other cross-functional teams.
• Provide on-call support, troubleshoot production issues, deploy fixes, and improve availability, reliability, observability, efficiency, and performance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience with a Bachelor's or advanced degree.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience developing or implementing web-based front-end and back-end applications.
• Experience with system design and architecture, debugging, code reviews, coding standards, test planning, and software support.
• Experience building and testing enterprise-scale web services and working on client-facing technical teams.
• Experience with Generative AI, including LLM agents, RAG systems, NLP, or AI-assisted investigations.
