Engineering Lead (SaaS)

Location: Remote-first team working across Canada, the US, and the UK

Salary: $190,400–$309,400 per year

What you will do

• Lead a group of 15 engineers and 3 engineering managers to deliver outcomes across SMS, secure messaging, email, and fax.
• Drive zero-to-one product development from early discovery through to general availability.
• Own system reliability and deliverability at scale using AWS and partner integrations like Twilio and Sendbird.
• Partner with Product and Design in a triad to translate technical impact and advocate for strategic investments.
• Champion practical AI adoption in both internal development processes and patient-facing communication features.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada, the US, or the UK.
• Experience leading engineering managers and senior engineers in a product-led SaaS environment.
• Proven track record of taking new products from zero to general availability.
• Strong product mindset with the ability to challenge and influence build decisions.
• Experience developing high-performing teams and engineering managers.
• Experience working in environments with regulatory awareness (healthcare or fintech is an asset).
