Product Owner/Manager (Salesforce)

Location: US Nationwide — Remote; normal business hours are 8:30am–5:00pm.

Salary: $87,622–$116,829 per year, with potential bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Partner with stakeholders, product management, developers, administrators, and QA to clarify business needs and define requirements.
• Assess dependencies, process impacts, business value, student impact, risk, and implementation effort to support backlog prioritization.
• Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow diagrams, and business process documentation.
• Coordinate changes across Salesforce, the LMS, and connected systems to maintain reliable data flows and consistent user experiences.
• Review test cases, perform end-to-end testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders.
• Triage defects, support production issue resolution, conduct software demonstrations, and prepare release notes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Business Analyst.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Ability to explain complex business and technical problems clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Experience with Salesforce, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, integrations, security, deployment tools, and version control, is required for the Salesforce-focused scope.
• Ability to manage and prioritize simultaneous requests and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information technology, management information systems, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Billing, or Revenue Cloud.
• Experience with Totara or Moodle.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification; Platform Developer II certification is a plus.
• Experience with MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Hellosign, Mogli SMS, HubSpot, or Natterbox.
