Senior Financial Analyst (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in Andover, Massachusetts, United States; in-office days are Wednesday and Thursday.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 base salary annually, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Partner with senior leaders to translate product roadmaps and staffing priorities into budgets, forecasts, and investment plans.
• Own Budget vs. Actuals reporting for headcount, software and tooling, consulting, and contractor spend.
• Lead headcount planning, position tracking, requisition monitoring, and staffing-risk visibility.
• Forecast AI spending across R&D and the broader organization.
• Manage software vendor spend, renewals, build-versus-buy analysis, and contractor engagement costs.
• Lead annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting while providing data-supported recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of FP&A or financial business-partnering experience, including partnership with VP- or SVP-level leaders.
• Experience in B2B SaaS, including subscription and recurring-revenue models and KPIs such as ARR, net retention, and gross margin.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, headcount tracking, and vendor or contractor spend management.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical and product priorities into financial decisions.
• Strong Excel modeling skills, including SUMIFS/SUMPRODUCT-based models, and familiarity with Power BI or Microsoft Fabric.
• Ability to form and defend recommendations, challenge senior stakeholders constructively, and separate strategic finance partnership from transactional accounting.
