HVAC Technician

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana, United States; fully on-site with no travel.

Salary: $30 per hour

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues and implement corrective actions.
• Install ductwork, piping, thermostats, controls, and ventilation systems.
• Service boilers, air-handling equipment, chilled and hot water systems, DX systems, exhaust systems, and related equipment.
• Test equipment, monitor performance, and recommend repairs, upgrades, or replacements.
• Maintain service records, work orders, maintenance logs, and preventive-maintenance schedules.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Associate degree, completed HVAC apprenticeship, or at least 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC operations and maintenance requirements.
• EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification required.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals and communicate technical information clearly.
