HVAC Technician

Location: Cargill-Eddyville, Eddyville, Iowa, USA; onsite, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with flexibility for shifts, holidays, and weekends as required.

Salary: $30.60–$36.00 per hour, paid weekly.

What you will do

• Repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
• Work independently and complete assigned tasks according to established standards and procedures.
• Assist with preventive maintenance standards, work procedures, and feedback on service-delivery discrepancies.
• Use HVAC and refrigeration tools, hand and power tools, rigging equipment, fall protection, forklifts, and other applicable equipment.
• Work from ladders, platforms, scaffolding, and other elevated areas while following site and company safety procedures.
• Complete work orders, time records, personal tool documentation, and other assigned administrative duties.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in industrial HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair.
• EPA Universal Technician certification.
• Working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration tools, rigging, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, stand or move for extended periods, and wear a respirator.
• Ability to work safely around moving mechanical parts, electrical hazards, fumes, chemicals, extreme temperatures, vibration, and loud noise.
