HVAC Mechanic

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; onsite role.

Salary: $26.81–$48.08 per hour

What you will do

• Perform maintenance, repair, and operation of HVAC systems.
• Support chillers, boilers, air handling units, and other building systems.
• Monitor HVAC operations from the control room and interpret stack emissions and air analyzer data.
• Respond to service calls, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor system performance, adjust controls for efficiency, and provide control room and Engineering Watch coverage as needed.
• Maintain accurate work orders and maintenance records while following safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a building trade or related field.
• Experience with building automation systems and large central systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physical environment.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• HVAC certification or formal HVAC training.
