Pre-Licensed Child & Adolescent Therapist (Remote, ME)

Location: Remote, United States; active Maine license required

Salary: $70,000 annual starting salary; compensation increases after obtaining full independent licensure.

What you will do

• Provide evidence-based individual and group clinical care to children, adolescents, young adults, and families.
• Use measurement-based care to inform treatment planning and monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with care team members, including coaches and psychiatrists.
• Facilitate CBT-based skills and skills-practice groups for parents and caregivers, integrating ACT and PMT elements.
• Contribute feedback on curricula, training protocols, and technology-enabled treatment delivery.
• Manage clinical risk and complete accurate, timely documentation.

Requirements

• Active provisional or associate license in Maine as a social worker or counselor.
• Master’s degree from an accredited social work or graduate counseling program.
• Graduate-level clinical internship with therapy training.
• Background working with children and adolescents, anxiety and related disorders, or both.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and communicate effectively in writing and interpersonal settings.
• Commitment to obtaining independent licensure within six months for master’s-level clinicians or nine months for doctoral-level psychologists, absent documented circumstances outside reasonable control.

Nice to have

• Experience or training in evidence-based treatments such as CBT, ACT, or DBT.
• Basic computer skills and openness to new technologies.
