Senior Staff Product Manager (AI Software Factory)

Location: United States; remote role

Salary: $165,000–$190,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AI Software Factory.
• Decide which AI and agentic capabilities to test, scale, standardize, retire, or avoid building.
• Identify shared problems across product and engineering teams and prioritize high-leverage platform work.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Product, and other teams to shape technical direction and resolve complex trade-offs.
• Define measures for software delivery speed, quality, reliability, cost, adoption, and business impact.
• Drive adoption of new developer tools and ways of working through feedback and evidence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience delivering complex technical or platform products across multiple teams.
• Experience setting direction for developer or internal platforms and driving adoption across teams.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping AI or agentic tools for engineers or internal users, including evaluating agent behavior and work quality.
• Technical fluency across APIs, architecture, data, reliability, security, and technical trade-offs.
• Ability to lead complex cross-team work and make decisions without formal authority.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Background in software engineering.
• Strong platform judgment and the ability to balance consistency, flexibility, and the decision not to build.
• Experience moving between long-term strategy and technical product details in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
