Coordinator, Quality Control

Location: Edgewood, NY, United States; onsite

Hourly rate: $25.00–$33.00 per hour; bonus eligible. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.

What you will do

• Communicate daily with supervisors and managers about shift activity, quality issues, escalations, and resolutions.
• Coordinate staffing needs and schedules with the Quality Control Supervisor, internal personnel, and staffing agencies.
• Assess training needs and ensure timely, documented on-the-job training.
• Follow up on job discrepancies and inquiries, and verify that jobs are accurately reconciled and closed.
• Support continual improvement of quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and ISO standards while adapting to changing customer needs.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a production or quality-control environment.
• Effective problem-solving, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Proficient English communication and ability to perform light physical work, including occasionally moving up to 20 pounds.
