Final Quality Control Inspector I - 2nd Shift (Medical Devices)

Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Hourly pay: $19.00–$21.00

Develops medical devices, software, and related services for diagnosing and treating serious cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions.

What you will do

• Perform in-process and final inspections of medical device products using inspection procedures and engineering drawings.
• Conduct visual inspections and test components and assemblies in production.
• Verify the calibration status of critical equipment and instrumentation.
• Record quality testing information in Device History Records and populate inspection metrics.
• Initiate Discrepant Material Reports for nonconforming materials and prepare retain samples for storage.
• Apply GMP and internal procedures while maintaining clean, orderly, and safe work areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a related position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Proficiency with basic dimensional measuring tools and computer applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and read specifications, procedures, engineering drawings, and basic blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail, effective communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
