CNC Setter/Operator

Location: Redruth, United Kingdom. Full-time role with a rotating three-shift pattern: 06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, and 22:00–06:00.

What you will do

• Set and operate CNC lathe and milling machines using planning sheets, tooling, gauges, and supplied materials.
• Manufacture precision components to exact specifications.
• Maintain production volume in line with planning-sheet targets and approved time requests.
• Work effectively with the wider team to achieve operational goals.
• Follow established health, safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement practices.

Requirements

• Recognized engineering apprenticeship, craftsman training programme, equivalent qualification, or substantial CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong CNC machining competence, including engineering drawing interpretation and geometrical tolerancing.
• Ability to select appropriate tooling, perform machine set-ups, and produce precision components.
• High standards of quality, accuracy, health, safety, and housekeeping.
• Ability to work positively as part of a team.
