CNC Machinist (Lenton 2nd)

What you will do

• Set up and operate ACME, CNC, and tool and die equipment to produce machined parts from blueprints, layouts, templates, and work instructions.
• Plan operation sequences based on material requirements and operate multiple machines for varied products.
• Inspect materials and work in process using micrometers, calipers, scales, and fixed gauges.
• Complete quality checks, production documentation, and required records.
• Move materials, install and check safety devices, report equipment or material issues, and maintain an orderly work area.
• Follow prescribed safety procedures and support additional production needs as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and meet operational deadlines.
• Prior experience in a light industrial facility is preferred.
