Team Lead Warehouse & Logistics for cUAS (Defence Technology)

What you will do

• Lead inbound, outbound, storage, picking, packing, kitting, and shipping operations.
• Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counting, discrepancy resolution, and material availability for production and customer deliveries.
• Coordinate domestic and international transportation, customs, export control, and trade compliance activities.
• Improve warehouse layouts, material flows, KPIs, reporting, SOPs, WMS, and ERP processes.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, security, and regulatory requirements and support audits.
• Lead, develop, and coach warehouse and logistics teams while collaborating with Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Engineering.

Requirements

• Degree or vocational qualification in logistics, supply chain management, operations, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience leading warehouse and logistics operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in inventory management, warehousing, transportation, distribution, ERP, and warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of customs, international shipping, trade compliance, and material flows in production environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent German and English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in defence, aerospace, electronics, UAV, or other high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with controlled goods, export-controlled products, or military programmes.
• Lean Management, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certifications.
• Experience with greenfield projects, new site setups, or rapidly scaling operations.
