What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor national and international transportation, storage, and distribution activities.
• Select transport modes and coordinate land, sea, and air freight with carriers, brokers, and freight forwarders.
• Negotiate contracts with drivers and logistics vendors and manage service-provider performance.
• Prepare and maintain transportation documents, invoices, schedules, and shipment records for traceability and audits.
• Track transportation budgets, costs, deadlines, and resource availability.
• Collaborate with loading and warehouse personnel to meet shipment goals and improve logistics processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Professional experience in transport organization, logistics, or freight purchasing for national and international shipments.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and standards for land, sea, and air freight.
• Experience with contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Knowledge of customs procedures, export/import processes, export control regulations, and dangerous-goods handling.
• Effective written and spoken English is required. Strong organization, analytical skills, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving abilities are also required.

Nice to have

• Experience with logistics and ERP systems such as SAP.
• German language skills.
