Command Center Specialist (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Coppell, Texas; fully on-site, with occasional travel required

Salary: $29.00–$36.00 per hour

What you will do

• Monitor autonomous vehicles, operating conditions, weather, traffic patterns, and fleet performance.
• Respond to vehicle trigger requests and safely send remote commands during on-road and closed-course testing.
• Log real-time autonomy and platform feedback for engineering teams.
• Triage remote-assist workflows, resolve basic vehicle issues, and escalate operational blockers.
• Use the LM Remote Troubleshooter to run diagnostics, check configurations, and manage vehicle operating states.
• Generate vehicle and system diagnostic reports, document actions, and follow procedures for recurring failures.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain sustained focus while monitoring proprietary software tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to safety and continuous learning in a dynamic operational environment.
• Valid U.S. driver's license, at least five years of driving experience, and a clean driving record verified through an MVR check.
• Successful completion of pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings.
• Availability for varying shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and extended 10–12-hour shifts in a 24/7 operation.

Nice to have

• Experience in complex, high-risk operations, leadership, operations, trucking, technology, robotics, or automotive environments.
• College degree or advanced certificate in an engineering trade.
• Vehicle maintenance or vehicle technology expertise.
• Experience with G-Suite, command-line interfaces, or technology tools.
