Autonomous Vehicle Test Driver (AI)

What you will do

• Safely operate and test 26–30 ft box trucks while monitoring diagnostic screens.
• Execute test runs and provide clear feedback on autonomous vehicle software and hardware behavior.
• Maintain vehicle readiness by managing upkeep, escalating risks, and coordinating vendor repairs.
• Complete accurate pre-trip and post-trip Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Ensure vehicles do not return to service with unresolved defects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional driving experience, including at least 1 year operating 26–30 ft box trucks.
• Valid CDL and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Safety-focused approach, strong ownership, clear report writing, and precise DVIR record-keeping.
• Comfort with Samsara ELD, timecard tools, Slack, email, and diagnostic applications.
• Ability to move within confined cab seating, repeatedly mount and dismount trucks using 3-point contact, and maintain strong agility and reaction time.
• Must be available for variable or rotating shifts and pass background and drug screening.
