Intern - Software Development Engineer

Location: Arlington, TX, United States; hybrid schedule with two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, team meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to software feature development for data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services.
• Assist with DevOps tooling improvements, including pipelines and static scanning.
• Support vulnerability remediation and production support focused on scale, uptime, reliability, and rapid issue resolution.
• Improve product quality and time to market through Agile practices.
• Complete the internship program capstone presentation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or Statistics, with at least one semester remaining at the start of the internship.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale.
• Junior or senior academic classification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Immigration-related sponsorship is not provided, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, and J-1 support.

Nice to have

• Previous internship experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development or automation.
• Knowledge of prompting techniques and emerging generative AI capabilities and limitations.
