Software Engineer, New College Grad - 2027 Foster City, CA (Fintech)

Location: Foster City, California, United States; at least 3 days per week in the office. The role requires 5–10% travel and is performed in an office setting.

Salary: $124,800 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments.

What you will do

• Write optimized, secure, and scalable code using software engineering best practices.
• Build end-to-end technology solutions for product and business needs.
• Develop and test software using unit testing, code reviews, APIs, and automation tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Diagnose and resolve software issues through root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Currently completing or recently completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field; graduation must be between May 2026 and August 2027.
• Less than 6 months of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C++, C#, .NET, JavaScript, or Go.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, testing, version control, problem-solving, and professional communication.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required; hirify.global sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with REST APIs, Selenium, automation tools, and test frameworks.
• Exposure to AWS, MySQL, Power BI, or Generative AI tools and concepts.
