Senior Autonomy Software Development Engineer (C++)

Location: Irving, Texas; onsite five days a week. Domestic relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year.

What you will do

• Develop production-quality C++ software for autonomous large mining trucks.
• Participate in software design, documentation, coding, product quality, and validation.
• Support requirements generation and software architecture decisions and tradeoffs.
• Support functional safety software design and validation.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver autonomous truck models and features.
• Travel up to 10% when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Robotics, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong C++ programming skills.
• Familiarity with core robotics principles.
• Strong mathematics and engineering fundamentals.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices and software engineering principles.
