Autonomy Software Development Engineer (C++)

Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; onsite five days a week. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $89,210–$144,960 per year

What you will do

• Develop production-quality C++ software for autonomous large mining trucks.
• Participate in software design, documentation, coding, product quality, and validation.
• Support requirements generation and software architecture decisions and tradeoffs.
• Support functional safety software design and validation.
• Collaborate with team members to develop autonomous truck models and features and bring solutions into production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in robotics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong C++ programming skills.
• Familiarity with core robotics principles.
• Strong foundation in mathematics and engineering fundamentals.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, software engineering principles, and programming tools.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in the Mossville, Illinois office.
