Salary: $153,200 – $234,100

What you will do

• Develop on-vehicle services to provision, execute, and monitor AV software in production and development workflows.
• Create frameworks to configure self-driving software for simulation environments and various hardware platforms.
• Build systems for monitoring vehicle status and exfiltrating critical data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide mentorship to other developers.
• Deliver complex projects through a structured, incremental development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of experience shipping production-quality software in Linux-based environments.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ and Python development.
• Experience building tooling for large-scale systems.
• High commitment to quality with a focus on designing for testability.

Nice to have

• Proven track record of managing projects from initial design through customer release.
• Experience with robotics middleware platforms, inter-process communication (IPC), or logging.
