Process Design Specialist

Location: Nashville, Tennessee, United States; expected to work from a hirify.global hub office 3+ days a week. Periodic travel of less than 10% may be required to hirify.global offices in San Francisco, Denver, and Santiago.

Salary: $64,000–$80,000 USD annual base salary or on-target earnings for Nashville, TN.

What you will do

• Assess current operations and support processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and use operational data to establish performance baselines.
• Map current-state and future-state workflows using process flows, swimlane diagrams, and RACI matrices, including FCRA-regulated workflows.
• Translate customer experiences and stakeholder knowledge into standardized SOPs, runbooks, playbooks, and intake forms.
• Facilitate working sessions with subject matter experts and collaborate with Quality & Training, Operations Insights, and Program Management.
• Identify opportunities for automation and AI-assisted workflows, including decisions about end-to-end automation and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
• Track improvement initiatives, measure results against baselines, escalate risks, and support adoption of updated processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in process improvement, business process design, or operations analysis, ideally in support or operations.
• Hands-on experience with process mapping methodologies, including process flows, swimlane diagrams, and RACI matrices.
• Experience analyzing process breakdowns and converting unstructured or tribal knowledge into clear, standardized documentation.
• Experience with support and knowledge systems such as Zendesk, Salesforce, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Strong facilitation, written communication, spreadsheet analysis, and process success measurement skills; SQL is not required.
• Ability to work from a hirify.global hub office at least 3 days per week and travel periodically as required.

Nice to have

• Experience improving support operations workflows in a high-volume, customer-facing environment.
• Lean Six Sigma, BPM certification, or equivalent formal process improvement training.
