Hardware Engineering Intern (Medical Devices)

Location: Vista, California, United States; on-site

Salary: $25–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Perform system-level testing and produce data for design-of-experiments activities.
• Support hardware engineering projects involving machining, electronics, programming, verification and validation.
• Contribute to system-level design and troubleshooting for complex electromechanical products.
• Update and refine engineering drawings and processes under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support sustainment and value-added engineering projects focused on cost reduction and reliability improvement.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, systems, biomedical engineering, or a similar field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Vista, California, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with complex electromechanical systems.
• Comfort with Windows applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Familiarity with Linux or Unix environments.
