Transport Team Manager

Location: Based at the Redhouse warehouse in Doncaster, United Kingdom. On-site role with Thursday–Saturday/Wednesday–Saturday rotation, 04:00–16:00.

Salary: £17.64 per hour

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and support drivers and transport coordinators.
• Manage daily shift operations and monitor performance against service plans.
• Oversee O Licence requirements, road transport legislation, driver hours, tachograph compliance, and vehicle defect reporting.
• Conduct floor and yard walks, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
• Manage payroll accuracy, return-to-work interviews, performance records, and training records.
• Monitor fleet safety and resource use to control costs and maintain service standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading and coaching people.
• Solid experience in transport operations and knowledge of road transport legislation, compliance, and driver safety rules.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, organization, and communication skills.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Health and safety awareness.
• Full driving licence.
