Dry Store - Shift Manager (Airline Catering)

What you will do

• Lead, develop, mentor, and motivate the dry-store shift team while managing performance and succession planning.
• Coordinate daily workflows, flight packing, stock flow, equipment distribution, and collaboration with the Dish Room and Airline Stores departments.
• Maintain packed-goods quality and quantity, housekeeping standards, food safety, health and safety, critical control points, SOPs, and legal compliance.
• Respond to last-minute flight, aircraft, specification, and operational changes while maintaining on-time performance.
• Define working systems, resolve operational problems, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and provide productivity and performance reports.
• Build effective relationships with section managers and support the delivery of DO & CO standards and service quality.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role or a fast-paced operational environment.
• Confidence leading a team with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
• Strong written and verbal English with clear and engaging communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical reasoning, financial awareness, and data-driven reporting ability.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft applications, with strong reporting knowledge.
• Flexibility, efficient decision-making, and a practical understanding of unit-wide operations.
