Technical Lead (Audiovisual)

Location: Onsite work in hotel, convention-center, event-venue, and warehouse environments; work may take place at multiple hotel locations and venues.

Hourly pay: $25.76–$25.77.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and dismantle intermediate audiovisual equipment for small- to large-scale events.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and resolve technical problems quickly.
• Meet with guests onsite, monitor events, and maintain effective client communication throughout the day.
• Lead, mentor, and coach technicians while delivering consistent customer service.
• Coordinate equipment requirements with staff and outside vendors, complete systems entries and paperwork, and finalize invoices with clients.
• Apply equipment security, safety, and company operating procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate’s degree is preferred.
• 2–3+ years of audiovisual experience required.
• 2–3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Complete all required training and certifications within 60 days of starting, where applicable.
• Valid driver’s license required for positions involving company vehicles; additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work around electrical components, lifts, ladders, noise, dirt, dust, and changing outdoor temperatures.
