Assistant Manager, Beverage (Hospitality)

Location: Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino; onsite role in a smoking environment

What you will do

• Support the efficient and profitable operation of the Beverage Department while maintaining service standards.
• Supervise, train, guide, and staff food and beverage personnel.
• Analyze food and beverage data, product mix, guest feedback, costs, and revenue opportunities.
• Support menu changes, VIP guest service, special events, customer complaint resolution, and guest security procedures.
• Develop and implement operating standards, controls, budgets, procedures, testing, training, and documentation.
• Coordinate POS system needs and provide project leadership and management as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food & Beverage Management or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Three to five years of restaurant or lounge supervisory experience is preferred.
• TIPS certification and basic mathematical skills are required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is required.
• Working knowledge of Info Genesis is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly, bend, and lift or carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds; assistance is required for heavier items.
