Field Service Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; frequent travel across the region is required.

What you will do

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair welding and cutting equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, equipment evaluations, and technical troubleshooting.
• Provide technical expertise to support sales activities and identify new customer opportunities.
• Document service visits, report non-conformities, and maintain accurate service records.
• Use digital platforms, support remote service implementation, and contribute to service process improvements.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and provide technical feedback on equipment and services.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical service, maintenance, or after-sales support for industrial equipment.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and customer-oriented communication skills.
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the region.
• Valid driver’s license.
