Mechatronics Intern (Automotive)

What you will do

• Support the development, programming, and troubleshooting of PLC, HMI, servo, motion-control, and robotic systems.
• Work with controls engineering to maintain and improve plant automation systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and address issues affecting production operations.
• Perform root-cause analysis and assist with corrective actions for equipment and process problems.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, validation, documentation, and automation improvement projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve reliability and efficiency.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical and computer engineering technology, electrical engineering technology, or mechanical engineering with a minor in computer engineering.
• Anticipated graduation date of 2028.
• Knowledge of industrial automation platforms such as Rockwell Automation, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent systems.
• Ability to work with industrial robotic systems, including Fanuc, ABB, Universal Robots, KUKA, or similar platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
