Production Supervisor - Assembly Nights

Location: Temple, Texas, United States; onsite evening shift

What you will do

• Supervise hourly assembly employees and organize personnel assignments to meet daily production schedules.
• Set shift and daily goals while maintaining safety, quality, service, delivery, and cost targets.
• Manage employee performance and attendance, and support onboarding and training for new team members.
• Manage inventory and communicate business information, policies, and updates to team members.
• Lead strategic initiatives, continuous improvement activities, and employee-driven improvement ideas.
• Collaborate with other departments and organizational stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; one year of experience may substitute for one year of education.
• Knowledge of behavioral-based safety, ISO standards, quality management systems, OSHA, and environmental standards.
• Experience with performance management, operational excellence, Lean, continuous improvement, and DMAIC methodology.
• Advanced leadership, team management, written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of A3, 8D, 5 Why, and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to continuously stand, walk, and lift or handle materials and equipment weighing 20–50 pounds in an indoor manufacturing environment with dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noises, and bright lights.
