Associate Manufacturing Supervisor

What you will do

• Direct a manufacturing work group to support department production objectives and maintain appropriate product flow.
• Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support goal setting.
• Assess training needs and provide or oversee employee training and development.
• Manage work instructions, reports, documentation, and communication across upstream and downstream areas.
• Investigate quality issues using basic root cause and continuous improvement tools.
• Promote safety standards and address personnel issues fairly and productively.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product flow in upstream and downstream areas.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, delegate work, remove obstacles, and communicate professionally with a diverse audience.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and department business systems such as Lotus Notes, Dynamics AX, and SQS.
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug test results required.

Nice to have

• College degree in any field, preferably a BS or BA.
• Supervisory experience or training.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and department business systems.
