Vice President, Credit Asset Management (Real Estate Private Credit)

Location: Hybrid role based in the London or Madrid office; London candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Work from home is available one day per week on average.

What you will do

• Support credit asset management for mid-to-large ticket performing and high-yield private real estate credit, including NPL and legacy exposures where relevant.
• Monitor loan and portfolio performance using metrics such as LTV, LTC, DSCR, debt yield, interest cover, arrears, covenant compliance, and concentration exposure.
• Build and maintain credit databases, loan tapes, dashboards, portfolio trackers, and analysis tools.
• Assess underperforming loans and support amendments, waivers, restructurings, enforcement considerations, and workout strategies.
• Coordinate with third-party loan servicers on administration, borrower communications, reporting, data quality, covenant tracking, and issue escalation.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly loan- and portfolio-level reporting, management updates, operating procedures, servicing frameworks, and governance standards.

Requirements

• Institutional experience in international real estate private credit, credit asset management, or credit investing.
• Experience designing, improving, or implementing processes, reporting, controls, data infrastructure, and operating routines.
• Practical knowledge of real estate private credit, including loan structures, collateral monitoring, covenants, defaults, restructurings, enforcement, and exits.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret and explain loan and portfolio metrics.
• Experience working with third-party loan servicers and handling data reconciliation, reporting, borrower updates, and workout matters.
• Right to work in the UK is required to commence employment in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with databases, BI tools, workflow automation, or reporting systems.
• Experience with NPL or legacy real estate credit exposures.
• Degree in finance, economics, real estate, engineering, business, or a related field.
