Associate – CRE Loan Servicing, CIB Portfolio Management (Corporate Real Estate)

Location: Hybrid, with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office in London, Birmingham or Edinburgh, United Kingdom

What you will do

• Manage and support a portfolio of long-dated commercial real estate loans under a servicing contract with Scottish Widows.
• Support loan lifecycle events, including consent requests, waivers, amendments, renewals and annual reviews.
• Prepare credit papers, perform financial analysis and monitor emerging portfolio risks.
• Maintain relationships with clients ranging from private businesses and family offices to FTSE 250 listed companies.
• Coordinate with Lender, Coverage, Execution, Credit Risk teams and external advisers to support deal delivery.
• Produce clear, accurate reporting and enhance portfolio insight.

Requirements

• At least two years of credit experience, including financial analysis and credit risk assessment within Corporate Banking.
• Experience preparing or contributing to credit papers and familiarity with LMA documentation.
• Experience supporting complex loan lifecycle events such as waivers, amendments and renewals.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
• Confident communication skills for engaging with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Corporate real estate experience and existing market knowledge.
