Acquisition Finance Portfolio Management - Associate (Finance)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with flexibility to work abroad for up to 30 days.

What you will do

• Support the day-to-day management of Acquisition Finance clients and leveraged finance transactions.
• Conduct credit analysis, covenant monitoring, financial performance reviews, and early-warning assessments.
• Assist with refinancings, amendments, waivers, credit modifications, restructurings, and workout situations.
• Prepare portfolio reports, risk reviews, management information, and quarterly credit-risk assessments.
• Maintain portfolio databases, trackers, performance metrics, lending limits, and capital-velocity initiatives.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, sector specialists, origination, capital markets, legal, risk, and offshore support teams.

Requirements

• University degree; CFA and/or MBA is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of experience in lending, leveraged finance, credit analysis, or portfolio management.
• Strong financial analysis and cash-flow modelling skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI knowledge is beneficial.
• Knowledge of lending documentation and credit processes, with strong analytical, communication, organisational, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and regions while managing multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Acquisition Finance, Project Finance, Infrastructure, Energy, Transport, Technology, or other specialised lending sectors.
• French and/or Spanish language skills.
