Finance Business Analyst

What you will do

• Own the customer's weekly invoicing and reconciliation process.
• Review and reconcile operational data, billing systems, the general ledger, customer portals, and statements.
• Investigate rejected invoices, short payments, credit notes, discrepancies, and other billing exceptions.
• Maintain audit trails, supporting schedules, and documentation for billed revenue and customer accounts.
• Map and document end-to-end billing processes, approvals, invoice submission, and reconciliation procedures.
• Identify revenue leakage, system visibility gaps, process errors, and control weaknesses.

Requirements

• ACCA qualified or actively studying towards ACCA is mandatory.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related subject.
• Experience in financial analysis, revenue, billing, accounts receivable, or transactional finance.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills, including reconciliations and large datasets.
• Experience with ERP, billing, or financial systems and a good understanding of financial controls and accounting processes.
• Strong analytical, investigative, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• CIMA qualification or active study towards CIMA.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Navision, ACH, PAXIA, or similar ERP systems.
• Experience in high-volume billing, revenue, customer finance, or financial process improvement.
