What you will do

• Provide accounting, analytical, and initiative support to the London Wholesale Bank and Treasury businesses.
• Act as the Finance point of contact for accounting queries, new products, reporting processes, and production issues.
• Lead BIA Accounting initiatives and projects, working with executives, business partners, and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely daily, month-end, and quarter-end reporting, including P&L reconciliation and decomposition.
• Maintain local governance and controls across trading activities and support continuous process improvement.
• Train Analysts and Associates and ensure procedures, documentation, and controls meet governance requirements.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant preferred, with at least 3 years of financial services experience, preferably in accounting-based roles.
• Knowledge of derivatives, fixed income, and equity products.
• Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong control orientation and well-developed Excel skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
