Program Analyst (Defense)

Location: Lexington Park, Maryland, United States; onsite

Salary: $95,000–$143,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide program management support to the PMA-265 Australia Integrated Product Team across F/A-18 aircraft, subsystems, armament, engines, weapons, technical publications, spares, support equipment, transportation, and training.
• Develop, modify, and review acquisition and contractual documentation, including PIDs, SOWs, CDRLs, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate and support program management reviews, technical meetings, conferences, briefings, and other CONUS and OCONUS events.
• Analyze requirements, budgets, schedules, milestones, risks, performance metrics, and project status to provide data-driven recommendations.
• Conduct management, technical, and business case analyses; identify trends, variances, risks, and corrective actions.
• Maintain configuration, change, documentation, and data management processes, including foreign disclosure and technology transfer documentation.

Requirements

• BS/BA and at least three years of experience, including two years of professional experience supporting major weapon systems or components; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience with Foreign Military Sales, Defense Security Assistance Programs, military acquisition, program status reporting, and schedules.
• Experience processing acquisition, funding, and contract documentation for military programs.
• Familiarity with SECNAV, OPNAV, OSD, PPBS, life-cycle management, and the DoD 5000 series.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Adobe Pro.

• Experience in acquisition program management and milestone documentation.
• Specific knowledge of FMS and Defense Security Assistance policies and procedures.
