Program Analyst

Location: On-site at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, United States

Salary: $55,000–$130,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Facilitate the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Executing (PPBE) process for large-scale DoD acquisition programs.
• Develop and maintain acquisition documentation, program schedules, budgets, and performance reports.
• Manage project funds, track funding obligations, and analyze financial and schedule performance against contractual objectives.
• Coordinate financial compliance issues with government agencies and prepare information papers for Congressional inquiries or funding cuts.
• Support system life-cycle activities including requirements definition, acquisition, integration, test and evaluation, fielding, installation, and disposition.
• Maintain program risk management plans, participate in weekly project meetings, and coordinate with government program managers, military leadership, customers, and contractors.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics, engineering, business, or the sciences.
• Familiarity with Department of Defense acquisition policies and strong qualitative, quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including graphs, tables, pivot tables, spreadsheets, and calculations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience developing P&R Forms for large acquisition programs.
• Experience producing Milestone acquisition documentation.
• Experience with CCaR, GFEBS, LMP, PMRT, and P&R Forms.
