Private Banking Region Head, Midwest

Location: On-site full-time in Milwaukee, WI, with responsibility across St. Louis, MO, Milwaukee, WI, and Birmingham, MI

Salary: $215,000–$285,000 annually for the Milwaukee market, based on experience, qualifications, and position location.

What you will do

• Lead, grow, and manage a regional team of Private Bankers, advisors, Market Managers, and Associates.
• Drive growth in loans, deposits, assets under management, revenue, profitability, and new client relationships.
• Acquire and retain high-net-worth clients through market outreach, internal partnerships, and affiliated organizations.
• Oversee balance sheet, profit and loss, portfolio quality, fraud management, renewals, collections, and regional risk metrics.
• Guide credit structuring, underwriting, risk mitigation, approvals, and deal closing.
• Build internal and external partnerships and represent CIBC at local market and industry events.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience developing and managing lending, deposit, and asset management relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions.
• Proven success in sales leadership, relationship management, wealth management growth, and tailored banking solutions.
• Experience in credit analysis, underwriting, risk identification, portfolio management, investment portfolios, and trust solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, presentation, written and verbal communication, Microsoft Office, financial analysis, and modeling skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified U.S. location; visa sponsorship is not available.
