Corporate Development & Strategy - Vice President

Location: New York, New York, United States; office Monday–Thursday with remote work available on Friday

Base salary: $200,000–$250,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead strategic research, competitive intelligence, and data-driven analysis of new business opportunities.
• Evaluate and support partnerships, minority investments, acquisitions, and strategic negotiations.
• Manage key due diligence workstreams from initial evaluation through transaction or partnership execution.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, business plans, financial analyses, and industry reports.
• Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to execute strategic priorities and special projects.
• Use approved AI and automation tools to improve the speed, quality, and scalability of analysis and execution.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in corporate development, strategy, investing, investment banking, or a similar strategic role.
• Experience evaluating and supporting M&A transactions, partnerships, and strategic negotiations.
• Strong understanding of KPIs, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making.
• Experience creating executive-ready presentations and recommendations with proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects, external partners, competing priorities, and tight deadlines.
• Strong interest in alternative investments and wealth management; financial technology or financial services experience is strongly preferred.

• Experience with alternative funds, including fund structures, operations, and valuation methodologies.
