Principal People Partner (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY, USA; four days per week in the office and Fridays from home

Base salary: $167,000–$230,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders and People Partners to develop and deliver people strategies across multiple business functions.
• Coach managers and leaders through employee lifecycle matters and difficult conversations.
• Plan and communicate organizational changes, including related training and enablement.
• Align culture, reward strategies, and internal parity in partnership with People Operations and senior People Partners.
• Advocate for team needs, perspectives, and challenges while supporting an inclusive culture.
• Design, execute, and roll out company-wide people initiatives with People Centers of Excellence.

Requirements

• 10+ years of HR business partner experience.
• Experience building trusted relationships with leaders at all levels.
• Data-driven approach, including the use of people metrics to inform decisions.
• Ability to interpret people data, communicate insights, and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Empathy for diverse groups and the ability to balance strategic partnership with execution.
• Experience or strong interest in coaching, mentoring, and career development.
