People Business Partner (LegalTech)

Location: Remote (United States)

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with Operations leaders and frontline managers on workforce and organizational planning linked to production volume, client demand, and business growth.
• Coach first-line and newer managers on performance conversations, team dynamics, and effective people leadership.
• Identify attrition patterns, capability gaps, engagement issues, and other people risks using workforce data and direct employee feedback.
• Adapt and execute performance cycles, compensation changes, and talent processes for the Operations organization.
• Handle employee relations matters with appropriate discretion and judgment regarding resolution or escalation.
• Represent the People function in Operations planning and leadership discussions while feeding operational insights back into central programs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner.
• Meaningful experience supporting operational or frontline workforces.
• Experience supporting a business unit through significant growth.
• Experience coaching managers on headcount planning, performance, and team issues.
• Ability to advise senior leaders, work through ambiguity, and apply sound judgment to people decisions.
• Ability to use attrition, engagement, and staffing data alongside direct employee feedback.
