Human Resources Business Partner (Technology & Platforms)

What you will do

• Set people strategy with Technology and Platform business leaders across hiring, engagement, development, performance, and retention.
• Lead organizational design, including team structures, reporting lines, spans of control, and role definitions.
• Build workforce plans, headcount models, technical leveling frameworks, and career paths.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to coordinate specialized and high-volume technical hiring, onboarding, and ramp-up.
• Coach managers, develop emerging leaders, and establish learning and technical leadership programs.
• Guide performance management, compensation decisions, employee relations, reorganizations, and people-data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic HR Partner roles.
• Experience in big tech, fintech, or high-growth environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand trading and investment dynamics, financial incentives, and performance pressure.
• Strong communication, influencing, conflict resolution, coaching, employee-relations, compliance, and compensation skills.
• Regular and reliable attendance during standard business hours is required in the hybrid Chicago workplace.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or HR certification.
